Downtown Bountiful and the older grid carry 1940s-1960s brick homes with the familiar trim-and-detail scope. Like the rest of the older stock in the region, pre-1978 homes in central Bountiful get contained prep on the old paint as a matter of course. Newer bench communities occasionally add HOA color review, handled the same way as the Salt Lake County benches: scheme approved first, then scheduled.
